Parked: Food Truck Fest

Are you sticking around NYC this holiday weekend? Have you had enough barbecued food this summer? Have you been wanting to try a special food truck, but just unable to track it down while it roams all over NYC?

Take a break from your burgers and hot dogs and head over to Governor's Island this Sunday, September 5th for a food truck extravaganza. The festival is on from 12-5pm. Trucks from Jamaican Dutchy, Rickshaw Dumpling, Green Pirate Juice, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Halo Berlin, Van Leeuwan Artisan Ice Cream, The Cinnamon Snail, Kelvin Natural Slush Co, and Hermilinda Mexicana will be parked on Colonel's Row. Bring a picnic blanket, and your appetite. Even more trucks are scheduled to appear. AND kick off your labor day parties with some locally crafted beers.

You can find the official details, and photos from last year's Parked festival here.
