It is seriously SO DELICIOUS. Kona coffee is known for being delicious. It is grown on the Hualalai and Maunua Loa volcanoes in the Kona region of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is one of the most sought after coffees in the world. This is the best Kona coffee I've ever tried. And if you put in twice the amount you typically would when brewing, it gives you super human speed. Once, after having a cup of a supercharged pot, I put in 2 loads of laundry, ran to the corner store for detergent, and had my dinner on the stove cooking in 10 minutes flat. And it tastes smooth and chocalatey to boot. I would love to try making a mocha frappe outta this stuff.
So where do you get it? It is Hawaiian after all. Well, I can't imagine an easier excuse to take a tropical vaycay. I happen to be lucky enough to have a roomy who is from Hawaii (she's the one who got me hooked in the first place) who keeps a constant supply on hand. Oh! I bought this brand when I was in Kona, delightful. I am obsessed with Kona coffee and snatch it up whenever I can. Yum!
